Hi, I'm going to amsterdam soon and was wondering if anyone has ever tried to bring back some cannibis?

I don't do drugs but have been to Amsterdam a few times on the ferry and on more than one occasion there has been a sniffer dog as we boarded in Rotterdam it's up to you if you want to risk it.

Never tried, but from my experience, it wouldn't have too difficult.

For starters, you could easily carry it from Amsterdam to another location if Europe by train, cause they dont check your luggage.

As for airport customs, I went through Miami, London Heathrow, and Cologne with a blade in my bag and it wasn't noticed until Cologne. Then I went through London Heathrow again just a day or so after those bombings and they're security didn't seem to have increased a bit.

But, all in all, it's probably not a safe idea. Why not just buy some from someone in the UK?

I took some out by train and finished it off in Belguim, Lux, and Switzerland. But I don't recommend it.

Just don't think about getting on a plane with it.

I live in the USA - I would recommend against your smuggling attempt. Before the flight back to the USA, we were grilled like crazy by security. It made me nervous as hell and I wasn't even doing anything wrong. Best of luck on your ventures, either way.

But also it really ain't a good idea , what with all the security that airports have these days it ain't worth the risk ... go and have a fab time and leave it at that !!

I heard people tried toput it in some coffee they bought usually that covers lots of the smell but them dogs sniff ya *** good and even if you had some earlier or some on you the day before they be smellin it and bite ya ***, but don't worry, i seen that they just give you a warning or a fine that it, they won't trow ya *** in jail since you in holland and they think you a dumb *** so take advantage of that. goodlucks

do it at your own risk... I know a guy who wrapped some in a bag really well and tucked it up underneath his balls and almost got away with it.

He flew to denmark and noticed some dogs in the baggage pick up area so he decided to ditch it.

People stick them in kitchen weeds, but any dog would find that. Best is just not to bring it. Second best is hiding it in coffee. The dogs can not smell through the strong coffee smell. Unfortunately the customs do know that too. So don't overdo it. Too much coffee is suspicious

We bought a 5kg tin of coffee and brought some back that way. My mate also found a bag of coke in his jeans after he got home - I think he just gt lucky though - he didn't realise they were!!

Imagine going through customs and they pull you to one side, your bottle would go.
Have a great time, go to the cafes and then leave it behind.

Probably best to get weed from your local source in the US.
I do know someone who mailed some to themself. It arrived unscathed 3 weeks later. I don't know if Amsterdam allows it, but maybe you could mail yourself some and don't put a return address.

Don't be stupid. Drugs dogs will sus you out if you try to do this. Just enjoy yourself while you are out there but then leave it behind. I am sure you can get a smoke back home if you really want to. I mean it's not difficult is it!!!!!!

I don't know where you live, but most countries of the world have Cannabis classified as a controlled drug. If you import it you will be seen as an international narcotics smuggler and your identity record will be circulated around the globe. Almost like being on the sex offenders register for life, globally. Could stop you travelling to many places, or being turned away at borders.

Secondly you will have a criminal record that will affect employment prospects as well as increase other sentences that may be passed on you.

You won't get out of the country as Dutch airports have sniffer dogs and searches are made of everyone leaving. Likewise the ports, unless you travelled by train to some other country - though conditions may be worse in places like Belgium or Germany.

Is a life sentence worth it? You'll lose your flight and have to rebook after appearing in Dutch courts, and pay a fortune for a new flight ticket, as well as the fines.

I've seen lads at Schippol airport being searched and arrested for Cannabis they had on them, it was painful to watch.

My advice is not to do it. Go and enjoy yourself legally whilst you are there. And don't drive for a long time after you get back, so that you are not intoxicated.
