Type passport into the internet...cant remember the site for it.
You can apply online, need to pay for it, it says it all on the site
Think you have to get a person to sign something for you aswell, to prove that youre gettin the passport, they have to be like a teacher, lawyer or some kind of important job like that.
They normally take about 3 weeks to process everything....do it well in advance
This is for a British passport btw...mite be different for other countries |

You can apply for a passport at any post office in the u.s., they cost around $80 and $15 for pics if taken at the post office (you can get it cheaper at a drug store). You need to bring 2 forms of identification, i.e. you birth certificate and baptismal certificate. Check this out http://travel.state.gov/passport/passport_1738.html to see what exactly you need to bring. They can take up to 6 weeks to get, you can pay extra to get your passport expedited (you can get it in 1 week). Hope this helps, good luck with school! |

You go to the post office and they tell you the exact place to get one. I think they are like 50 or somthing around there. They take a few days to get. But if it's around the holidays it takes a longer period of time. |

Hello,
You can pick up an application at most post-offices. You will likely have to submit your application at the post office as well (unless there is a passport office near you). You can download an application online. http://travel.state.gov/passport/passport_1738.html
I am not sure what the current backlog is, but I would recommend applying now. You can find the current costs on the website above. It is less than $100, I believe.
Usually, they take 6 weeks but last fall it was taking up to almost 3 months. Apply today so you have.
Good luck. Exchange is an amazing experience and one I've found to be universal, regardless of the organization you choose. Just make sure it's one that will support you and not have hidden fees. |

you download the form from the government website, you have to get a picture taken thats 10 X 10 (i think it was), youll need $100 if you're over 16 years old for the fee. You bring it to a post office that offers passport services and they will process it there for you. You will need your birth certificate and social security card and a photo id. It can take up to WEEKS to get since they are so backed up... so get started asap. You may need an adult to go with you too. |

Go to a post office nearby and apply they take about 6 wks and cost around 100 dollars, it's a ten yr passport for adults. I know b/c my whole family is going to mexico and we have been looking into it all! But it has to be a big branch post office not a privately owned one! |

Some walmarts do them. I am not sure about the cost not too much. You'll need a few different ids though. Anything with name and picture will do. Drivers, school id, state id... |

If you are not from the USA or UK, you might have to go to your town hall or a special passport office.
If so, google the word passport in your local language, and see what comes up.
Here, in the Netherlands, we go to our town hall with a passport photo and that is about it. A week later we go again and collect the passport.
If it is a first passport you often need something to proof you are you, and if you are not yet 18 you will need approval of both parents or your guardian. |
