How do I get backto the USA with only $200 ? (im in Poland)?

Go the airport and wait for a cancellation to where you want to go. They will offer the seat to you at a reduced rate. Its better for them to make some money than no money at all. If its too much money then tell them how much you have & if they say no ask to speak to someone in a more senior position. As the higher up the person is in the company, the less bothered they are about the little pennies, more about the reputation of their company so they will try and help you out.

With $200 it will be difficult to find a ticket back to the USA, especially during high-peak season, which has begun. Try contacting the US Embassy in Warsaw and check your options with them. Another idea: Give private english lessons or conversation lessons until you can make enough $$ to buy a ticket back. I know a few people here that privately teach english charging 35-45 zloty an hour. If you decide to wait, fly out during low season. Good Luck and take care.

Are you serious? OK, I have to be Mom here. Why did you go without a return ticket?

If you can't get someone to wire you money, the you could look into going on a freighter, but that could take months and would cost more than $200. If you are woman travelling alone, then you had better not go that route.

By the way, the Embassy will not help you. They hear this kind of sad-sack story all the time and are hardened to it. Find a job or something.

I high recommend some inconspicious begging. Don't get arrested panhandling. Then you're really screwed.

go to the embassy of the US...ihad the same thing happen.
just explain the situation, youfill out a lot of papers and they give u a ticket back home that u have to pay back within a certain time period.....u will also not be able toleave the country until its paid. they take your passport or restrict it.

How soon do you want to get back? If not to soon you should go to the embassy like the guy said or get a job their and work until you can afford a plane ticket. Or call a family member or close friend. God Bless!!!!!!! Hope this helps.

The embassy will more likely help you, getting you a ticket, but you have to surrender your passport when entering the USA, until you have payed back the cost for the ticket.
