Gehenna

How do modest Turkish women prevent men from perving at them on Turkish university campuses?

...since they can't wear burqa, niqab or hijab inside? No matter how modest a woman tries to dress, it won't be as effective as the above 3 items (I think burqa's the best way to go. I've never been able to stare at a woman's figure when she's wearing burqa).

Totally Blunt- men are men wherever you go.

Easy the answer is wear a paper bag over their heads with two eye wholes cut out. There is no law against that. In fact they could well get a huge paper bag and walk around in it.

The problem won't exist on university campuses; it doesn't either exist in Germany with appropriately educated persons, it just exists where people don't really know what to believe, or are only marginally trained or influenced in a fundamental manner.

1st I think u badly need to see a Turkish uni first. that would answer your q.
2nd u badly need psychological help.

Btw why dont you dwell in your own burka yourself since it's the best way to go? is it any comfortable to type thru your burka? Hold! isnt using a computer sin anyway?

No need hijab in Universities, are safe places without ever observering provoked perverts..

Trotsky vs Kerensky- НекIо!
If you are a female, don't you have a father or a brother? Do they look like perverts? Are you saying that all males on earth are perverts? You are out of your mind! Who knows, maybe you'll marry a pervert and you'll give birth to a little, future pervert.

If you are a male, you admit you have problems controlling your sexual desires since you even look at women wearing burqa's, although, as you say, you couldn't see her figure under it. You ponder too much on this issue for a perfectly normal, mentally healthy male.

I have never been disturbed in my university campus in Turkey. But I do remember a pervert Iranian guy in high school whom I always tried to avoid. My Japanese friend, had another incident again, with an Iranian man twice her age. Odd isn't it, most of the men you speak of come from countries in which women cover up the most. Then, when they see a normal female, they go wild like beasts. Disgusting.

I am an independent individual and I know how to protect myself, I don't need to walk around in a tent or in a refrigerator box. If there is a problem, men should put on burkas not women, because according to your very entertaining proposal, all males are perverts whose sexual desires are awaken at the mere display of women hair.

Momo
Did your mother wear a burqa when she met your father ?

So how could he appreciate her and pick her ?

Did he discover your mother's face after the ceremony ?

I hope he wasn't too freakin' scared...

And what is the result of this union, by the way ?
Elephantman, Quasimodo, Alien or Shrek ?
Don't be afraid, dare watch the mirror and tell me what you see... Aaaaaah noooooo !

Totally Blunt
Well, as most Turkish men are already modest, we don't have any problems on university campuses. Maybe you are mixing Turkish men with men from your own country?

Edit: You are wrong, honey. The men on my side of the world are human beings. The perverts you are talking about are sex-hungry, woman abuser animals. Now I'm sorry for you, because you haven't met any decent guy.

Why don't you go back to frequenting R&S section? You will find the support you are looking for there.

gezgin
In Turkey especially in university campuses men don't perve any modest woman.
And if any man want to perve at any woman he wont look at what she wears.
So don't worry about the Turkish women in university campuses.

Modesty has nothing to do with what you are talking about. Women who are attacked do not have to be provocative or at any campus Turkish or whatever.

hahaha ithinkiatetoomuch gave the best answer. Everyone else actually gave you too much respect. Your parenthetical "I've never been able to stare at a woman's figure when she's wearing burqa," is just ew.

Bix
If you can't control your sexual desires whenever you see a woman, you should see a shrink.

Does that answer your question?
