How do you text a mobile in Corfu from the UK?
My friend is going to Corfu and I was hoping to text her while shes there. I've had a look and I think the country code is 0030.

Well you just text her they way you would if she where home, provided she uses the same number.
It is possible, if she texts you, that you will not be able to reply to her text. Just start a new one and send it to her number, without replying to her text.
If she uses a greek number then the number begins with 69......... What you will do in this case is send the text to her number by adding 0030 in front and then her number.
Simple as that. :)

I regularly text from Greece to the UK (mobile to mobile) & vice versa.. Just send a text as you would in the normal way, you don't need international codes except from landlines.

If your friend is using an english sim in her mobile phone you don't need to put any country codes. However you may need to put 0044 just to make sure it reaches her.

You don't need to use any codes for texting just text your friend in the usual way and she will receive it
my son text me whilst l was in spain and l text him back in the uk without using any codes.

You text her normal number (07.......) The network will find her. She must have roaming access on her phone of course. If she wants to text or call you she must have your number as 00447.....

i have just got back from corfu yesterday , when some txt me i just pressed reply and it worked but if u are gna txt her 1st i dont think u need a 0030 code becasue that if u are calling a landline fone , not mobile

Since she will probably still have her british mobile number, you have to do nothing. SMS her as usual, at +44 7733....

In my personal experience you have to write the full code including the 00 30 7733 and the number of course.
