How does a turkish citizen travel to other EU countries?

European hypocrisy and bigotry requires all Turkish citizens to get a visa to travel to EU countries. I say hypocrisy because according to an agreement between Turkey and EU made about twenty or more years ago, Turkish citizens should not need a visa to travel. However, when it comes to Turkey EU tends to dishonor its signature. The same thing applies to Customs Union Agreement. EU is still obstructing the export of Turkish goods and services, although Turkey allows that to enter freely.

You need a visa for all EU countries, even if you are using the airport to go visit another place, or passing through by car to go to another country. They are called transit visas if you are transiting via air or land... If you are going to travel you need a tourist visa, if you are going to do business you need a business visa. All countries have different consulates, embassies that handle visa cases. Most located in Ankara and Istanbul, although some consulates have additional offices in other cities. You go visit their website, print the documents needed, call for more information or appointment, fill in all documents, show documents that affirm your strong ties to Turkey (like deed of house(s) you own or car(s), your paycheck, a letter from employer, your insurance, etc...). You should be able to get it if all your paperwork is correct and your intentions are right fairly quickly.
Note: You can also apply for a Schengen. The 15 Schengen countries are: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Greece, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain and Sweden. All these countries except Norway and Iceland are European Union members.

Turkish citizens need visa for EU countries unless you are not leaving airport (exception Greece & England, for these countries even to stay in airport you need to have a visa). Also whichever country you are visiting you need to get your visa from that country embassy / consulate. For example you may not enter Holland with valid schengen visa which is taken from French embassy / consulate. If you are visiting multiple EU countries you need to enter the country first whichever country embassy you got your visa. I have got Schengen from French Embassy in one day but i was going to stay in Paris overnight between two flights that`s way it was easy. Normally getting a visa is very hard and long procedure.

i suggest that you should apply for Schengen visa. you can get in touch with the French embassy, as they can issue you visa in 3 days.it seems to be the fastest variant of getting it. here is the address of French embassy in Turkey.
