I'm spending the last week of August in Nicosia, Cyprus, and was wondering how hot it would be around that time? It's my first time in Cyprus and I've heard it can be unbearably hot in July and August but is it still this way near the end of August? |

HI i will be in Cyprus in August and i know it will be very hot, we usually go in September and even then it is hot, 80 degrees and over, Nicosia always seems to be a few degrees hotter than anywhere else, perhaps it's because it is inland and there is no breeze. |

Well, over the last couple of years, July and August have been particularly hot, with temperatures up to 40C+, even more so in Lefkosia ( Nicosia), so yeah, be prepared for a hot stay!!! Its pretty warm here at the moment too!!! |
