it's very cold in London... we drive on the other side of the road.. you push doors instead of pulling them... oh and a lot of places don't have mixer taps...

i think that covers the main differences =)

Northern Europe is cold.

Eastern Europe is still recovering from communism.

Western Europe is becoming overrun by Mohammedans.

Southern Europe...does such a thing even exist?

At the moment we are having hard frost at night
plus 16 hours of darkness each day.Snow is at
a premium,falling lightly on highest points such
as the Pennine Chains in England.Time 6.30 pm
in Leeds,one of the larger English city's..
Shopping for Christmas is in full flow and presents
are accumulating under our small twinkling tree but has
my home has no chimney i am wondering how Saint Nick
is getting in to our house ? All the best to our American
cousins this Christmas.

Well Germany is great . The best part is the autobahn ,fast as heck . On the smaller roads the pigs dont pull you over unless you are doing something really stupid . The first thing you will notice is how clean the streets are, and public transportation is the best in the world if your into that . And seeing as how everyone said weather ...In Baden Wurtemburg the weather is about like north carolina.

I live in northern europe at the moment and I love it. But yes, it is cold. Andvery expensive. The central europe is boring, eastern europe at the moment is the worst part because of its former communism regime, western europe is even more boring and southern europe is interesting but overcrowded. If you wanna see something interesting- come to northern europe. And by the way the UK IS NOT and WILL NEVER BE a part of europe. Maybe geographically but not culturally and mentally.

Born in UK now living in Spain weather is a lot kinder and there are lots of English speaking people here. I have been learning the language for 2 years .Spanish tolerate different nationalities well and we all work along side each other. It a bit hot in summer though 44dec .

As an fellow American I can say Europe is falling apart. Riots in France , Islamic immigration , political tensions all over the continent. Add to this an increasingly tyrannically European superstate forming and it's easy to see why it is not safe to travel to that continent. Support the American economy and visit other states of our great and glorious union.
