How is life in Turkey,?

The food, friendship, social life in general, religious celebrations, e.t.c oh of course also house prices?...

arzu o	Life is wonderful here but in order to explain everything I have to spend the next week writing to you. So, I'll just say: Come and see for yourself. The prices really depend. Of course, if you compare with London, they are cheaper. Also there are million dollars mansions if you want to have a look. And "cheap" depends on you too. You could be a hidden millionaire as well:))))
nicknak88	havent lived there but went for 2 weeks in the summer. it was not long enough loved it so much came home and booked next years holiday there. the best place iv EVER been.
Bored!	When I went there the food was quite healthy & the hotel not totally amazing but really nice. Some didn't like it but I went out for the day & each time my adventures made me quite happy. It depends on you really, I liked it enough to be going again & I hope I have made the right choice, will let you know!
readylaura	The food is great. Anyone would love Turkish food! Social life is like how it is in other countries. People meet at the weekends and go to the movies or the some other stuff. Religious celebrations are a big part of Turkish culture. There is the Ramadan month. We love Ramadan month not because it's an important celebration in the Muslim world, because we have our own way of celebrating it. Especially Ramadan in Istanbul is so unique. You eat "pide" and other traditional dishes and you have fun, get together with your relatives and so. Also house prices depend on the city and also the neighborhood. In Istanbul the best neighborhoods are Levent, Nisantasi, Etiler in the European side and Caddebostan, Suadiye, Erenkoy in the Asian side. But please don't think like european side is where all the europeans live and the asian side is where all the middle easterners live because this is a common mistake. The house prices are about 1,500-3,000 YTL in these places. Good luck!

Slick Rick	Its fantastic, well it is for me. Great weather, great coastline. great food, great scenery, even the Turks are great. iskender and bottled Efes is truely a gift from the Gods Love it.
Jen	its very gorgeous :) you should go to Antalya,Istanbul,Ankara,Izmir you would love it the food must try shish kebab,religion mostly muslim,friendship very friendly,social life very talkative,celebrations your b-day i am living with my husband in Alanya,Turkey night life in Antalya is crazy and fun and noisy bcus of night clubs daylight you should go to coco beach its gorgeous place but can be really hot during summer,adultery btw is illegal in turkey and family is very important and also virginity is important if your going to marry a turkish guy..... hope that tells a little about the country :)
