it depends on the shipper but ask for a tracking number and you should be able to track it on the net. i have recieved items within 48 hours but could take upto 7 days.

I send stuff to my folks in the UK all the time using Deutsche Post and its never taken longer than four working days for letters or parcels to arrive there. It's only the other way round that it becomes unpredictable! eg: 4 - 7 days for a standard first class letter by Royal Mail.

Between the UK and Germany is usually very quick! I have had things arrive in 2 days before.
