Qu'est ce que tu pense?
I don't. There are a few number who do, but mostly in the smaller towns and villages. You rarely ever see them in the big cities though.

There are some that are dressing modestly and according to the the rules of İslam , they wear scarves but women with veil is not a common thing at all. Besides Turkey is a secular state and all the extremist clothing and symbols belonging to any religion are not very well accepted and also women with veil couldn't be able to go into government offices or have their legal issues taken care of.

The majority dresses normally like me for example but we also have extremely European or American style dressing women too.

Totally Blunt
Religious women cover their heads and some extremists wear the chador.

But the veil is completely another matter. I'm sure there are handful of women who use a veil, too, but they are a minority even among the chador-covered bunch.

anlarm
Do not confuse Turkey with some Arab countries. Out of 35 million women (roughly) in Turkey perhaps 5-10 wear it.
There are many women who cover their hair with a scarf but not with a veil. You will be surprised at the number of western styled women in Turkey. Please check satellite TV and internet before you ask such questions.

Trotsky vs Kerensky- НекIо!
Nope, it isn't common at all. I've seen one or two in my life.

Significantly less than a lot of people in the world assume. Despite being a country of Muslims, a lot aren't observant. It's like being born Catholic or being born Christian.

Hurricane
nope,of course not! only "few" woman wears them and they are old hopefully :-) when they die, there won't be any women who wears that stupid thing.

i dont know what your talking about, but if you wer talkin about a turban, then...a lot.. but not me. if God gave you hair, why cover it?? its so stupid. but every one has a different point of view. every year the amount is getting bigger. i dk how were gonna solve that problem, but... anyway... bye!!

Pinar
I live in Istanbul and seen maximum 10 women in chador in my life.
