We speak Greek and most of us speak English, too. A lot of Greeks speak French or German, or both. Then, some speak Italian, Spanish, Swedish, Russian.

All over the World (other then America)... Children of todays Schooling are learning English. The entire World knows English pretty much (Children Wise I mean) and so most Greek Kids Speak English.

All Greeks Speak Greek xD

And some elderly Greeks know Turkish... Actually, I know of people 100% Greek who do not know Greek... only Turkish. But these people are in their 80s and in the Villages. Its a long history I cannot type right now... but i would say

3-4

From the ages of 8 to 18 Greek kids learn English - French and German - those with a quest to learn will take up more languages - but most kids can have a decent conversation in English, French and German by the time they leave school - most will have the Cambridge Lower Certificate (or Michigan) in English (or French/German equivalent) by the time they are 16 and about 30% will go on to a higher level (proficiency)

TURKISH

I am bilingual Turkish-French, I am fluent in Spanish, I know just a little bit of English, and also a couple of sentences in Arabic,Portuguese, Italian and Russian...

Unfortunately, I don't speak Greek...yet!
But I'm going to Greece soon, in order to learn this language, with some open-minded and kind Greeks of course...

Laoplanos
Macedonian minority in Greece is forced to speak Greek, but the home language is Macedonian, the mother tongue.

Baby girl!
Greek language is actuall one language, the only thing is different areas in greece have different dialects of greek. It's still one language. Just like English, if your from Texas like me, english is pretty plain and simple, but if your from New York for example, people might have an accent from there. Same thing in Greece, many area have different dialect of how they communicate in greek, that's all!
