Turkish coffee is mostly served when you are in a neighbour or you serve it when somebody visits you. so it is related how social you are :)

Coffee 's home land is Etiyopia .
In Ottoman Empire , Turks get it from Yemen. And the worlds first coffee hause open in İstanbul at 1600 ' es.
I dont know how to cook it. Morticia can explane it more than me.

Queenie, Pinky is trying to use NY slang but she just misspelled the term yous with use. Not a big deal, so scurry along with your tea and biscuits.
I never tried Turkish coffee, I drink Italian espresso, or as we refer to it in NY "black coffee". We usually put a little lemon rind in it to take the acidity out then add Sambuca, a licorice tasting Italian after dinner drink to the coffee to counteract the bitterness of the coffee. |

c'mon,it's the national drink ,i prefer nescafe for breakfast
but the rest of the day ,turkish black.
we also have a turkish coffee machine at work, but it doesnt't
taste as good as hand made, the taste depends of course
on which brand of coffee you use.
addtional detail:it's the best medicine for headaches, but
no sugar,black. |

being a coffee addict I adore Turkish Cofee. But only if it is well prepared. Since it takes more time and effort than instant coffee
it is hard to find a cup of diligently prepared Turkish coffee. So I drink espresso or filtered coffee ( from coffee machine of course - thanks to Zanussi-) |

Hello dear!
I am very glad to see your question!
While teaching at an American University, I had both Turkish and Greek students, as well as from many nations around the world! I was amazed to see that non knew the difference between the two kinds of coffee (Turkish and Greek)!
When I introduced about it, all were skeptical; when I finished I had made new friends, both Turks and Greeks since they understood the coffees have distinct differences!
Well, usually I don't drink coffee! But when I do, I drink the local coffee, thus, when I am in Turkish or Arab establishments/ hoes, I have Turkish coffee, when in other places have Greek!
If you want to find the differences of the two kinds, communicate! |
