1. Makedonovski Halvaski, but reffering to Halvas you can simply use the word "Gruevski".
2. Makedonovski Tsi(m)pourov which becomes very appropriate with the addition of a simple M.
3. Kostas Vardarskan does not sound nice for an artist, so Kostas Rhodesian is better, as Greeks are belong to the black race. |

Actually it is a very good question.
I am absolutely certain that you must have given it a great deal of though before you even began thinking of asking the question.
And such a legitimate question cannot stay answered. Therefore I shall do my best to assist you with your quest of knowledge.
It is such a good thing to help others reach a higher level of consciousness and knowledge.
Two words my dear friend I dare say :
Courage, enlightenment, psyche and tremendous will power it takes to ask such a brave question.
Lets all hail the source of this erotimakon in our daily and obscure routine that this very question dares and shakes the foundation of our society....
Hail Asker!!!!!

We could inspire from Harry Potter, and call them "you-know-who". "you-know-what" halvas, kostas "you-know-who". We are not worthy of using the term Macedonia. |

Why this obsession? Who cares about things like that? |

What do you mean? There is only one Macedonja and ONLY one folk called themselves Macedonski.
As we say in our propaganda on the net, showing you our big finger
"Don't FYROM me, call me Macedonian"?
Oh, those ****** Greeks! If only they were vanished! |

lol according to our cute neighbours' propaganda we must probably name them Slav-alban-turko-vlacho-bulgaro-sub saharan halvah etc :-P |

Well, since the original Macedonians were Greek, I would say that all products of FYROM can't be referred to as Macedonian...luckily, FYROM doesn't export anything that the rest of the world would want, so question resolved!
Oh, and Komnini...eisai ilithia. |

I don't want to hurt your feelings but the names you chose sound awkward. Since the sub-saharans of Greece are so dark how about saying "dark halvas", "dark tsipouro" and "Kostas Darkie"? It sounds better than way and is easier to pronounce. |

Anyway you like it!
I don't mind to use the name "macedonian" if that makes you and your nation happy:)!
At the end "Imitation is the best form of flattery"!
Greetings from Macedonia |

LOL, I can't believe what that guy above me wrote...
So you were here on holidays right? Well, guess what? We LIVED here. My relatives have been calling themselves "Macedonians" LONG before your country decided to rename itself from "Vardarska".
As for the rest, can you be Texan and American at the same time?
Can you be Parisian and French at the same time?
Can you be Roman and Italian at the same time?
Can you?
In the same way, my family from Macedonia are Greeks AND Macedonians at the same time. Greek Macedonians. It's not a notion difficult to understand.
And to answer the question, it goes without saying that we're not going to rename anything. |

"Dark" is great, but I believe "Rhodesian" suggested by my fellow Byzantine Emperor is the best! |

All these products got their names only after 1989-90. Not before you could find them under those names !
We know that, every year in the last 30 years we were there on holidays. Only the newspaper Makedonia existed, nothing more Macedonian.
And now look - national shizophrenia. To be Greek and to be Macedonian in the same time ? |

If you really want to do something about it, maybe you should direct your efforts outside this section and confront your views where it really counts: because all you're doing here is endless, repetitive tit for tat bickering.
At the same time their version is being spread elsewhere, look at this question for example:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AtDmk0wXHtu_MBiidH0jZsHty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20080910235826AAmlxtX
Do you see that other people are taking them for real? THAT'S what you should care about, not what the Fyromians&the Greeks think here, we all KNOW that! We are aware of it.
So maybe you should type in the key words in the search field and then deal with all the questions in other sections, where people are blissfully unaware of the duelling going on in here.
