Oh ... I have been to Turkey about 15 times and I enjoyed it very much.
There is so much to see and do,
I have been to Istanbul (my mother has friends there). It is a town between East and West, it´s so interesting with the serails, the Grand Bazar,... also the Bosporus is very beautiful, you can go to the Black Sea coast, very beautiful views, landscape
I have also been to the Bodrum peninsula ... I didn´t stay at the city, I stayed on a beach outside the city ...
Bodrum is interesting for everyone, there is
- clear sea
- traditional small villages
- shopping possibilities
- famous bars and discos
- castle with interesting underwater archeology museum
- amazing landscape
- white cube houses surrounded with lots of flowers
I have also visited
Ephesos (I think largest ancient site of Turkey)
Pamukkale (Cotton castle)
Euromos (Greek temple in the woods)
Milas (a nice small town with an interesting market on Tuesdays)
Bafa Lake (lake with antik ruins and bird reservation)
Very beautiful country, people are nice, and

You won't regret it trust me but only if you choose a holiday resort either on the Aegean cost(that's the area which has a seaside to the Aegean Sea in the south-west of Turkey)or one on the Mediterranean Cost (the part near the Mediterranean Sea which is on the South of Turkey).And my favourite places I can recommend you are,Bodrum,Fethiye,Kemer.Try to find info in English about these three places on the web. |

make it on the grill and it will be fine. Look up the recipe for Beer chicken or beer turkey(grilled) and it will be great. Serve it with wild rice and mmaybe corn or green beans and a lemony dessert and it will be fresh and light. |
