Of course not! You love him, right? Then there's nothing wrong with it, as long as you make sure he always respects you and loves you.
My boyfriend is Greek and I am Peruvian. That's one difference.
About the age, gosh... don't worry. That's very little indeed. Now it shows but in the future is nothing! Really, don't worry. I am 18 and my boyfriend is 34, now that's a difference.
And if you want more encouragement. I met him when i was 15 and he was 31. Again, that was a real difference. The age difference you describe is ok, 5 years is ok. Indeed, age doesn't matter, really. I am telling you. As long as you understand each other.
I've been told more than once that I should break up with him, even people saying that he was a pedophile which to be honest was really insulting. It's been almost 3 years we are together and we love each other so much. Listen to yourself. Be mature and if you consider that relationship turns into something bad. Then break up. Still don't let that interfere with your professional future. Study and get well prepared for life.

Well, yes you are way too young to date him, dont mind me saying but the fact is you are. If you were say 15/16 it would be alright, regardless he is albanian or greek, people must ask you to break up with him because of your age and they are right, not because he's albanian, come on, its fine to date who ever you like!

first of all you still are a kid... he's too old for you.. you're still in your puberty, he is not.... you're a kid and he is not... and stay away from albanians.... listen to me and just stay away...isnt it giving you an opinion someone who is with a 13 years old child? look what everybody is saying... listen and dont make a mistake....

You are indeed very young. I think the age difference is the main problem, not the fact that he is Albanian. If you were older, I wouldf tell you to get a close look at his family and his cultural background, because when you are in a relationship the person you love seems great to you, but the problems arise later, when you get married and meet his family etc. However, I doubt you think of marriage etc. at this age, but i also doubt you should have a relationship with someone who is an adult. Frankly, for him it is illegal to date you, he can go to jail for that. And you should avoid sex at this age, because this complicates things a lot, creates pregnancies and so on. But at his age I am sure sex is important. So I think it is best to break up, unfortunately, or just be friends, and if your love is strong you can have a relationship again in 3-4 years.

Believe me, you will forget all about ancient enmities as you mature. More important than that, you will have the power to disregard what people say.

But, I, too, think that 18 is too old for a 13 year old. It won't matter so much when YOU are eighteen, but it is a big difference now.

I'm sorry to point this out, but if your boyfriend is 18 and dating a minor, he could be sent to jail and/or be deported!

I am willing to believe that he's a special person and that his feelings towards you are pure, if you say so. But in the eyes of the law, he's not very different from a child molester, and the fact that he's Albenian is not going to make things any easier.

The fact that he's not a minor also means that the full strength of the law can be brought to bear, if your parents or anyone else report this to the public prosecutor. When this happens (and trust me, it will happen sooner or later) your bf could get into really serious trouble, even if you don't have any, ahem, ...physical contact, because the police and the judges will probably think he's only interested in taking advantage of you. Please understand that at best, he will be humiliated and followed by police for a long time; at worst he may be sent to jail for many years.

I know it seems deeply unfair, but that's how things are. Dating an adult means having adult problems. If you love him, do yourself and him a favour and break this relationship up as fast as possible.

If my Daughter had a 18 year old boyfriend when she was 13 I would be more than worried. and the boyfriend would be in hospital.
In the UK theres a big difference between being 13 and 18. Albanian - Greek thing is irrelevant at this point . the out come would be the same

I dont agree with the age, you have the whole future in front of you.
Concerning the nationality, i am the first who said that religion and nationality has nothing to do with love.
Be sure, if he were arab, turk, even japanese, i would send you my best wishes.
But concerning the albanians, i am a little bit reserved.And this not because of their nationality, because they are immigrants here,he might be a really good person, but because their background is lower than ours,-due to the political also situation they had- it means that you have to see if he is with you because he loves you or because he wants to establish a better situation in Greece..Dont forget the opinion in Greece about them..
Dont take it as an insult,it is up to you to examine everything and to make it work as better as you can, in a positive or negative way...

Anyway, you are too young to deal with anybody but your schoolmates, and too immature to deal with this race...Just keep your personal belongings away from him, as a first step...as a second, just try to keep yourself away too...

It is very sad to see all this racism going on in Greece! I hope that people like you can do something to change the present situation! Your relationship is not wrong but I advise you not to have a sexual one. You are too young for that, you might become pregnant and then what would you do? Think about the consequences it may have.
