Keep your accent. Actually, it the Americans who have an accent. British English has always been the standard, as this is where the English language originated. |

I teach ESL in Europe, and I don't think there's anything you can do to get rid of it. Perhaps after many, many years of living in a country you might lose it. But then what? Then you merely sound like everyone else. How boring. The accent makes you a bit mysterious. And many people wish they had one. |

Nothing. An accent comes from our native language and trying to change it wont help anyway. All of us have some accent or the other...so, you are'nt alone. Dont worry about it. |

Don't worry about it! I think that European people's accent ROCKS!! I'd like to talk like that. I am from the Midwest of the U.S. and nobody has an accent over here! If people don't like it tell them that they wish they had an accent naturally! |

You should be proud of your accent. A lot of people have accents. As long as people can understand what you say and you can carry on a conversation you should be fine. |

Everyone on the planet has an accent in every language. If you just happen to live among a group of people who talk like you, then your accent is not noticeable. If you move then suddenly you sound different and "have an accent".
Having an accent is not a bad thing. |
