depends on your passport, if you have a french passport, you can stay forever

if not, you can stay as long your visa allows you to

Gfal
As long as you want, the EU lets you live in any member-state!

Bonnes vacances!

check irish embbasy's website or call them

mamour
as long as your visa allows it, since you are not an EU citizen;
non EU citizens need visa,as a Malasian citizen you need your valid passport and a visa # the carte de séjour # does not give you visa waiver,

Bon sejour

If you are a French citizen, you can stay for as long as you like. If you are a foreign national with a right of abode in France, you can stay for 3 months provided you have the resources to support yourself.

The EU agreement may be different because the UK does some things differently (such as currency)

allen555

I am sure you can stay for a good while, though you may need to ask about this. We had a French student helping us in French classes at school and she stayed over for over a year! Sure it wont be a problem!
