Hello. I am assuming you will see the main attractions of Poland...Krakow, Warsaw, Tatra mountains in Zakopane. If that's true, I agree with the above poster...Prague is both very close to Poland and very beautiful. You can take a plane or an overnight train to get there. Have fun!

being already in Poland I would suggest to go to Prague, Tchek Republic. It is to the south of Poland and also very beautiful. Prague is a very old city with great historical buildings. Very romantic and full of attractions. We also call it "Paris of the East". It is very worthwile.

Well my wife is from Tyche. It's in southern poland. Her parents have a house in Ustrone. It's nice there. In the mountains, great skiing. They have the worlds best food there and the best beer in Europe (I live in germany so i do know what a good beer is).

The folks are nice in southern poland and everything is rather cheap.

Have a good time.

Don't forget Gdansk (Danzing) a northern Polish city. It has a lot of WWII statues, and you can actually find grenades and shells on the Wester Plate... A very important defence against the axis. But after Poland i would most likely visit Chech Republic or Slovakia, or you can just visit France... the American oldest ally

I also agree that Gdnask is really underrated. The only problem with that area is that it isnt really close to another destination thats interesting. If you want to go to Prague after then you should for sure go to Krakow. If you want to see ocean and a cool town without a lot of tourists, and with very interesting historical significance then see Gdansk but go in the middle of summer.

go to prague (czech rep) it is my favorite city in Europe it is very close by and as poland pretty cheap!also germany(Berlin, Muinich...) is worth seeing and if u have all the time try to go to paris( france) and vienna(austria), very beautiful cities as well.
If u enjoy parting like crazy u need to go to spain( i would recomend either barcelona, Madrid or the island Mallorca ( el arenal for parties))The spanish people know how to party there like crazy and the cities are very beautiful and interesting.Mallorca has a lot of interessting things to do next to partying like biking, hiking, watersports etc.
Amsterdam ( netherlands) rocks in all ways.
And Italy is very pretty and fun to go too.
Even the northern countriesz( sweden, norway, danemark) in europe have great things to do!
all in all i must say europe has a lot of opportunities regards traveling and there is so much to see and it sure is very different whereever you go!
It really depends on your personal interests...

Don't forget Krakow AND Zakopane in Poland. The first one is a beautiful city, ful of history and a vigorous night life, Zakopane is in the heart of Polish mountains (Tatras) - I really recommend a hiking trip to up Siklawa waterfall!

Than you should visit Prague, it's very close. But my favourite cities in Europe are Cordoba and Granada in Spain. In the middle of Cordoba you will find 1200 year old mosque (Mezquita), which is absolutely breathtaking. The city itself is like a labirynth of beautiful narrow streets, that also go back to the times of Mezquita. Between 10th and 15th century muslim Cordoba was a center of science and culture in Europe. Not many people talk about this, unfortunately..

Granada is a little bit bigger, the view of Alhambra (sultans palace) will stay forever with you. I promise.

Have a good trip!

Why not go upto the Baltic States into Lithuania, Latvia or Estonia? Or cross into the Ukraine if u are in the south-east of Poland... thats what i'm planning on doing, one or the other!
