Buy flight socks. Get up for a walk every hour or so, circle your ankles in your seat and drink plenty of water. |

The flight is not too long, about 4 hours. Get an aisle seat on the plane so you can get out of your seat more easily and more frequently. Just keep popping to the loo every half hour, drink lots of water, buy flight socks and take a paracetamol before take off to thin out your blood and prevent blood clot. |

drink a lot, so you will need to use the lavatory often, thus, you won't sit for too long. |

I'm not sure whether the advice about paracetamol is valid. Shouldn't this be aspirin, a 75mg tablet, which is below the normal pain-killing dose? Otherwise the advice looks good to me in all the answers. Lester L |

see your doctor otherwise it may lead to DVT which means that you will spend your holiday in a clinic and not see any of Corfu. |

Firstly wear flight socks. Frequently rotate your feet and bend and unbend your knees. If you are able then stand and walk a little - just go to the loo. A flight to Corfu is three hours so try to stand and walk as described after one hour and after two.
An aspirin taken before will help with you circulation. Don't drink alcohol and drink plenty of water.
Pay fifteen pounds for a seat with extra leg room so that you can stretch and flex your legs. The airline will ask if you have any mobility problems because such seats are near emergency exits so DON'T TELL THEM YOU HAVE A LEG PROBLEM! |

I'm not familiar with the plain in Corfu. However, if you are referring to the plane on which you'll travel, you'll need to move frequently and drink more fluids than normal. Water is the best fluid for a traveler. Even if you are required to remain in your seat for various reasons, you can move your legs and alternate your position in your seat often enough to stimulate circulation. Good luck and enjoy your trip. |
