I live here on one of the Canary Islands. Christmas time here is quite warm during the day, but a light weight jacket may well be required in the evenings.
We do have occasional rain during this time but doesn't last very long.
Hope you enjoy your stay. |

It is pretty much the same all year round - sun and more sun. We went to Fuerteventura for New Year one year and it was really weird walking along the beach in a swimsuit on New Year's day. It will be great fun. Be aware, however that in Spain Christmas is celebrated on Christmas Eve and not on Christmas Day. |

It will be lovely - probably warmer and more blue sky in the south but guaranteed to be 75deg.plus.
Xmas is lovely out there with lots of firework displays etc. Lucky you - enjoy it with your mum. |

The canary lslands are volcanic so quite dry. some of the beaches are blackish colour sand. The weather is nice most of the time. so at christmas the weather in the canary islands should be good. Unfortunately mainland spain is not as good. Enjoy yourself |
