I am on holiday in Albufeira, Algarve and the weather is pretty dull, any suggestions what I can do?

Go to the fort at Sagres - it surreal if you go out on the headland and find the wind flumes (furnao). Go to Vilamoura or to Foia (the highest point in the Algarve), or, my favourite place, Lagos for a cruise out round the coastal caves - find Georges Jesu on the riverside road for the best and cheapest trip.

I'm going to Albufeira next week so I hope its sunnier then! Enjoy the rest of your hols!

the old town in Albufeira is definately worth a visit on a dull day, went last year and loved it!

why dont you head out to the algarve shopping center or take a trip to the nike factory store

There's more to the algarve then the turisc places. Search for the lil hidden treasures. they're priceless. Or go the the Zoo Marine, It's awesome and well worth it.
I'd suggest you go to lisbon if you can. Best place in portugal. Don't know why people are so mad about the algarve....
Seriously. Try to have a look at the places outside albufeira. Sagres is awesome. Tavira is too.

:-( i'm sorry to hear the weather is dull..especially since i'm coming out 2 weeks today..but as someone else said..the weather will be warmer than it is here..altho in scotland today the sun is shining.. but i'm sure you have more heat!! I am reading up on things to do whilst there as plan to hire a car for a few days...the rest of the time i'm hoping to lie in the sun...i've been looking at the weather daily and it seemed to be okay...i believe the places others have told you to go to..up above are worthwhile a visit and also i believe alburfeira has large shopping mall...enjoy your holiday .. i'll pray for sun for you .. if you do same for me...have fun:-) (ps at least you've found an internet cafe...get off yahoo answers and speak to your hotel rep or hopefully someone local who speaks english and perhaps they can give you some great ideas...when you come back ..please do a post on things to do in the algarve byeeeeeeeeeeee xx

i have only just got back from the same place today and i found plenty off things to do have you tried the strip it is exellent night life hope it helps

Take a boat trip along the coast.
If you can get to Vila Real do Sto Antonio you can take a ferry to Spain on the other side of the river, which is always a laugh. Good seafood and beer places there.

why not go an check out the local places, local village or the churches find a museum of interest, going on holiday isn;t all about sun sea sand and sex! its about other cultures aswell.

Go to the capital Lisbon.
There is things to do for all ages.
If you are young there is loads of night clubs open till late (very late).Go to Parque das Nacoes,Docas.
There are many museums,church to visit.

Lisbon is much fun.shopping centre are open till late.
Good restaurants if you like sea food.
