High unemployment rate, usually-depressing weather and short nice summer when every one seeking to get sun tan, supper expensive, mostly speak English.
In small towns activities end by 6-7 PM in which you get board like hell if not a big bar fan that closes around 2 am!
Usually, Danish arrogance is in the air. Believe me, you will notice it!
Although they're friendly but they have this thing to wards foreigners!!
I used to live in Aalborg, Aarhus and Kobenhavn in 80's and spoke fluent Danish. |

High taxes. High costs. High cost of living. Health cover taken from your taxes. Safe. Mostly tolerant as long as foreign values are not extreme. Mild summers; short daylight hours and lots of rain in winter. Good public transportation. Language difficult to master. Start apartment-hunting now as flats are very difficult to find unless you're willing to pay 8,000 kr or more per month for a one room; http://bolig.dba.dk/ is a good source. |

Yes I've been there many many times. It's a cool and laid back but also a energetic city. Everyone speaks English if you don't know Danish. It is always something going on there and it's easy to find friends. I don't find it super-expensive, since it's a capital and you usually expect capitals to be a bit more expensive. |

Just to correct acco5:
Right now Danish unemployment rate is very low, about 4% (from dst.dk -Danish statisctics), so finding a job right now should be easier, since we need more people in employment.
where I come from Bars usually close around 6 in the morning (Aalborg) on weekends. |

high.
Most people speak good english, the food is delicious. |
