I have about 6 days to spend in Turkey this August. Any suggestions on where to go (I like the beach!)?

if you like beaches i recommend you to go to Didim or Fethiye.Fethiye has golden beaches with no wind,no wave!
one of the perfect beaches in europe,especially the "oludeniz" area!

Didim is another choise for nice beaches.it is a small town with lots of bars and discos,a place where british people prefer.

All right, you got some good information below. But may I also suggest that you spend a few days in North Cyprus? We have some of the loveliest beaches in the world: crystal clear water, golden sands, and warm water too.

Go to Cesme, izmir. The climate in there is hot,dry and windy which makes it an ideal place to be during the hottest month in Turkey.

Absolutely you ought to see Marmaris-Bozburun in Turkey. There are many cheapest pensions on front of the sea. The sea is like a lake and very clean in bozburun, but some times alittle windy. Between Bozburun&Marmaris 54 Kms. Furthermore You can go blue voyage for daily or for a few days in Selimiye village. Selimiye is about 10 Kms to Bozburun. Daily blue voyage is so much amusing, You can see amazing pine forests on the hills near the sea, many small islands. And fishing if you can. You can see to Bozburun below the sites. I'm so glad if i help to you for a nice holiday.

I suggest either Fethiye or Bodrum. FYI: Demi Moore loves to go to Fethiye for vacation because she just loves the beaches there. They are really lovely.

u should go to BODRUM in the AEGEAN SEA of TURKEY...Ä± love BODRUM very much because its sea is excellent ann it is worth seeing its blue of its sea.besides,u should go to discos and bars where tourists coming from all around the world...there is entertainment there u should see and CATAMARAN which is famous worldwide.CATAMARAN is yatch club in the sea...and there is HALÄ°KARNAS DÄ°SCO famous worldwide...SEA,SAND,SUN...CEARTAÄ°NLY, U CANNOT WANNA GO BACK TO UR COUNTRY ...

If you have some time to go to Bulgaria, you can visit Sunny Beach. It's absolutely gorgeous, and it has nice hotels too.
