Kebab is our national food,it tastes perfect! Iskender kebab is my favourite.if you have the chance go to Bursa and eat it.Bursa is famous with Iskender kebab and they really make the best kebab in Turkey.if you can't go there,try HD ISKENDER in istanbul and ankara.Their iskender is awsome too.

Faros beach club restaurant in Marmaris do a great Turkish kebab.

You need to try it i did when i was there for two weeks.

yes I love kebabs. I can see everyone likes Iskender kebap, especially if it has that special butter (?) sauce. Oh and the delicious breads underneath the meat, yummy!

Kebap is best served in Adana...you can find kebap in every corner here. The most chic restaurant or a mobile kebap restaurant (lol) doesn't matter where you eat it.

When I was in Istanbul, I saw that they serve something that looks like kebap but man kebap is never served with bulgur pilavÄ±, wth that was. I was shocked. And the side dishes were very poor.

If you want to really enjoy the real kebap, the right address is Adana!

Kebabs are great. there not quite the same over here in UK you don't get iskenda .
I had something called a Vali Kebab in Izmir must have been one of the restaurants specials because I haven't seen it anywhere else.
Anyway it had everything on it. Donna, lamb, chicken. shese Chilli's you name it was ace. apparently Vali means president so that's why it was the biggest and the best.

other than that I would go for Iskenda every time.

right I am off to Akdeniz kebabs be right back.

I love Kebabs and BORAT. He's funny and Kababs are yummy, I will argue with anyone who disagrees.

As per usual... If you are looking for food in istanbul go to Kadikoy and find Ciya (as in mountian) Sofrasi, but in your case go across the street for Ciya Kebabcisi. mmmm. Eat an Adana for me!
Anybody, what is the kebab (like Urfa) rolled in cracked wheat stuffed durim ekmek, topped with cheese and butter??? I've forgotten the name.
Also you can go to canim-cerim in tunel for durum kebab.
