It depends on what you're into. If you want to eat at fancy restaurants, go on guided tours, have no limitations as to what you can do, I'd bring a lot. Or, you can go to Borders and buy the book "Free Things To Do In Europe" and bring $0. |

it depends on where your going and what they use for currency. also how much you would want to spend and hotels you would be staying at! maybe $3,000-$5,000 |

NONE!! Use an ATM. Check with your home bank, but most networks are international, and you should have no problem. ATMs generally are quickest, most convenient, and give the best exchange rate. |

Well, that all depends on where you want to go and what you want to do. Excluding travel $, I averaged around 30 euro for a hostel/night. Food usually ran cheaper at 15-25 euro/day, of course I was on a budget. My advise is to stay away from the never ending supply of tourist traps and horrible food they dish out. You'll find much cheaper and often times much much better food five to ten minutes outside these places. Even if you don't have a taste for foreign beer, you will after your stay. Plus its cheaper depending again on where you are. I'd say with entertainment and the rest included: take somewhere between $800-$1200. Keep in mind the conversion rate which right now isn't in your favor. Take more if you plan on going to London. It's a 2-1 ratio. Have fun. |

If you're on the bum, traveling light and don't mind being cheap plan on no less than a $100 a day. You don't have to spend it if you don't have to but it's real hard not to spend at least that much.
If you want more middle class vacation plan on $200 a day.
Europe like the US, the sky is the limit, but unlike the US there are some low budget bargains that are clean, safe and enjoyable.
Don't be shocked by the price of food, you'll find out why Europeans are thinner than us. |

I suggest you do not take a lot of cah but use your credit card instead, allow about 50 euros a day in cash. Have a wonderful trip. |

€1000. Seriously. But UK and Switzerland (and maybe others) don't use the Euro. Have fun with that. |

If u going to Napoli, italy and u will stay in bed and breakfast u will pay 45€ per day so if u will stay one week i think u have to take with u around 1500$ to be okay |

just figure out what your gonna be spending it on and and roughly a guidleline to how much that will cost - times it by however long you staying there for and wallah! lol dont forget although its a holiday you dont need to buy everything just for the sake of it just casue you thinks its cheaper or you might need it back home - dont buy what you wouldnt normally buy here. |

Assuming your hotel will be apid for and all you need is food and extras..I wouldn't take less than 500 bucks. Food, stuff for freinds and family...YOU. |

Well, if possible, you should depend on a credit card for your major expenses. If that gets stolen, you don't lose money. For your cash, you should have a small amount of Euros and the rest in Traveller's Cheques. Same reason.
How much money depends on your travelling style and what country you're going to. So there's no way to tell. But you can easily get more cash from a bank anyway.
P.S. Pay for 1st class on the trains in Italy. Also, rent a car and drive around some, if possible... great way to see the scenery. |

This will totally depend on where you're going. How much you'll spend in England versus Poland versus Spain will be totally different.
The standard expected amount to spend in Western Mainland Europe is $100 US per day. This includes food, lodging, entry fees, souvenirs and transportation. Of course, this will go up or down depending on if you're going budget (hostels, cook your own meals, etc) or higher-end (hotels, eating every meal at restaurants). You didn't give enough information to answer this properly. However, $100 US per day should get you through the week with money to burn.
Now of course if you're going to Eastern Europe, this will be a lot lower as their currency isn't as good as the Canadian, American or Australian dollar. You could get by with $50/day. If you're going to the UK, they work on the pound and everything is expensive, so you might want to push your limit to about $125/day.
Good luck! |

As much as you can carry.
That was a pretty open ended question. I would assume that you're not going to Europe to sit in a train station and stare at a wall for a week. What do you want to do? Where do you want to go?
Remember the exchange rate changes daily for dollars to euros. So today 1 Euro will cost you $1.36 U.S. dollars. |

I would take at least 5000 dollars, The dollar is pretty much worthless |
