If you're worried about getting bored or lonely while you're traveling around the country, I highly recommend you check out couchsurfing.com. I had a friend who went on exchange to Europe last year tell me about it. It's a volunteer-based worldwide network of travelers who offer each other free accommodations, but not only.
Basically, what you do is make yourself a profile and browse through the profiles of people living in the cities and towns in Poland that you're planning to visit. These people may offer to meet you for a coffee, or let you crash at their place for a few nights for free, and take you on a tour of their city. This way, you're hanging out with locals and getting the ultimate tourist experience rather than flipping through maps and guidebooks that tell you what's worth seeing and what isn't. Though it might sound sketchy, a lot of people on couchsurfing.com have verified IDs, and have loads of recommendations from other travelers they have hosted or visited, so that should lighten any safety concerns you may have. I haven't tried it myself just yet, but I know many people who have, and none have complained about bad experiences. It seems like a great way to save money and meet people.
I'm actually moving to Poland in 24 days and had the same concerns as you, so I just joined the Wrocław community group on couchsurfing.com. It seems that the couch surfers living in Wrocław host local events regularly, such as picnics, camping trips, and parties, and anyone who's stopping by the city is always welcome to join in. So if you're planning on staying for a longer period of time in any particular place, this might be something you'd want to look into.
Best of luck! |

Yes you can. If you're 18 and over then you should go to Energy2000 a famous nightclub in Poland not far from Krakow that has lots of fun. |

Ive been there bout 6 times it's buetiful and also it's very fun. I do think going alone is boring. Advice: wait till ur friend gets some more money and maybe you guys can go together. You shouldn't waste ur mony fer no fun. Or you can find someone else to come with. I think those ideas r u the best. |

I don't think it's especially weird for Poland I just think Traveling alone in general is sorta lonely/boring. |

Yes! I did the several times I have come alone, and I barely know the language. People there are very helpful and friendly and tolerant of tourists, also much of the youth understand English. Don't worry, it's not like in Paris or Tokyo where things are so lost that you should have a partner with to enjoy and not get lost in it all. |

Poland is a very friendly country, a bit on the conservative Catholic side compared to the rest of Europe. I am sure you are going to have lots of fun. Check out some traveller forums before your trip so you can meet up with other people. |

Going to any other country other then your home country can be a little bit weird and scary if your alone,It's easy to get lost, Poland is a very nice and kind(friendly) as someone already put , country, Ask a different friend maybe, or anyone, if you have already been in this country, then it wont be so scary, maybe weird, but anyways
Have fun :) |
