Norway is a country that proves that socialism can, and does, work. It doesn't belong to the EU, and has a diverse population anyway. They have a stupid policy about whales, but they have millions of fish that are raised on fish farms. Norway almost always leads the world at the Winter Olympics in medal winners. Norway is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, and is a place worth seeing. But bring a lot of money because it is very expensive. I also have relatives living there. |

Well, for starters, I'm pretty sure that I have some ancestors from Norway. I know that it is the biggest country of the four scandanavian countries- Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. I think its capital is Oslow, but I'm not certain. I know that a lot of Vikings came from Norway, too. Hope that helps! :-) |

I think of fjords, ice, and snow when I think of Norway, and that quite a bit of it is above the Arctic circle. I know that Oslo is the capital city, and that it borders on Sweden, Finland, and Russia. I know that it has a king and queen (although I think their duties are largely ceremonial), and that it is a constitutional monarchy. I've always thought of Norway as quite an enlightened country in terms of its regard for civil rights. |
