That's like saying I'm Bulgarian - therefore am I Greek or I'm English therefore am I Scottish ... or I'm American therefore am I Canadian?
Duh - no you are Albanian ... UNLESS you are from the border which moved down .... and swallowed up Greek villages ... making them Albanian Then you'd be Voria Ipirotis (I find wrting Greek words in English too hard - always spell them wrong!= sorry) |

No. Some Albanian citizens are Greek, because they are in former Greek areas, from antiquity. |

You may descend from Greeks. It depends if your ancestors were natives of the Albanian land or the Balkan Peninsula or if they emigrated from elsewhere. |

If you were born in Albania you are Albanian. If you were born in Greece and are a citizen of Albania you are Albanian with Greek ancestry.. So ask your question in a different way so it is clearer as to what you want to know. |

No, it means you are Albanian, a separate country, but they DO have close ties to Greece, and many do trace their ancestry to Greece. It would depend on your family history. |

If… I knew the point on this question I could answer.
“IF… I AM Albanian” means, “I am Greek and posing weird questions”. Are you Albanian or not?

I live in Albania and I can't be Greek. Albania and Greece are two different countries. Both the languges aren't in any group just in the Indoeuropean one in Albania we speak shqip and in Greece they speak hellenika. And they are very different as languages. The Albanian culture is different from the Greek one, the folk too...etc. So if u r Albanian u r not greek. |

Nope but a lot of Albanians are of Greek roots and also a lot of Greeks come from Albanian roots (so called Arvanites back in 1800)!!!! |

What a question.
If I am rich, does that mean I am poor ??
If I am short, does that mean I am tall ??
If I am fat, does that mean I am thin ??
If I am old, does that mean I am young ??
If these questions sound a little screwed, then they should !!
If you ARE one thing, its quite difficult to BE something else. |

I am Greek, born in New Zealand.
I was in Greece for 20 yrs, my godson is Albanian.
After my stroke at the age of 29, (5 yrs ago), Greece no longer wanted to know me.
My Albanian godson did.
My Albanian 12 yr old Godson treated me a hell of a lot better than my fellow Greeks. |
