There is Far east, which is India, China etc.
There is Middle east, which is Arabia, Iran etc.
There is Near East, which is Turkey.
This is plain geography. Since Turkey is the westernmost part of Asia, how could it be middle? Have a look at the map.
Anyway, what if it was Middle East? Is that bad?
As for including Turkey in the Middle East, it can happen, because the term Near East is used by historians and geographers. Often this term is not used and the entire area is called Middle East, especially by people studying politics, as opposed to Far East. But the precise scientific term is near East.

Yes, of course, Turkey is a part of Middle-East, but they have also a strong connection with Europe because we Fyromians are the cousins of Turks (also like Albanians and Romanian Gypsies).
