1. Many would go to the most financially developped countries, as they already have (UK, Germany). Nothing bad about that, it is normal and it has been done by many other EU countries.
2. Many would go to the Greek islands, which are close to Turkey. That would be Turkey's way to finally "have" the Aegean islands, since the Turkish population is larger than the Greek. The same with Cyprus. This is normal, because the islands are very near the Turkish coast.
3. Many would stay in Turkey and take advantage of the new opportunities and development through the EU. |

Turkish people have been working across Europe since 1945. Denmark and Germany have had thousands of Turkish workers coming in every year for the last 40 years.
Why all the panic? |

There is already a significant and established Turkish population in Germany. So maybe Germany will be seen as an attractive place to migrate to.
I wonder how many people going UK this UK that knew that? Open your eyes, you are not the only country in the EU with immigrants. |

If Turkey becomes part of EU means better economy, finance and transportation. So they will start building and developing there economy more and more. |

Why move?? I would certainly stay in my country.
UK???
It is so cold and always humid up there, i don't think i can go there only for some more money while i have my shiny days and lovely people AND a great city here in Istanbul!
But if i had to, i guess one of the other Mediterranean states would be my choice.
BTW, you know that you dont have to be in EU according move somewhere AND you cannot just move somewhere other than your country even if you re in EU. Thirdly, UK is not in Shengen Zone. |

I can't talk on behalf of all the Turks but as per myself, I would stay in Turkey but love to buy a house in Tuscany, Italy or in one of the Greek islands for summer :)
...and a nice boat with an EU flag wouldn't be bad, either :D |

By the way if Turkey was in the EU i would go to Europe just as a tourist.
But if i was wanted to choose a country, i would choose the 5 countries that i listed above. |

Membership of EU has nothing to do with moving. If we want to move, we can move. It is not that hard. Proof? Have a look at the Turkish population of Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, etc.
Personally, moving to a European country is not an attractive idea for me. I'm comfortable here in my country. Thanks but no thanks. I wouldn't change my beautiful İstanbul to the entire world.
But if you want to learn which European countries do the Turks find attractive, well, we generally think Italy and Spain are amazing countries and lots of Turkish tourists visit these 2 countries every year. |

For Turkey to be in the Eu it the government would have to change its policies on human rights, it has been allowed to abuse its population because of its georaphical location and membership of NATO during the cold war with Russia, now world politics have been changing as we dont need the air force bases to bomb russia as we did then so now they see Europe as a place to get more money and wealth from, it is obvious Turks would and have been heading to UK where we offer free housing free medical care free education free money on JSA and free legal aid if you think all these freebies arnt enough. if Immigration doesnt want to let more Turks in then they have been pretending to be refugees from countries such as Afganistan, Iran as if they have no ID or any papers proving their country of origin British law asumes they are talking the truth even if they have no idea of living in the country they are pretending to be from when thay are merely economic migrants abusing the Refuge rules and harming real refugees who would be killed if returned to the country of origin. |

Why not their own country? i don't understand.
But yes I think the UK is the obvious favourite for many, but that's just based on the wealth of the country. If you say the most attractive for working in, then probably the UK as well, although I'm not sure right now with high unemployment and everything. To live in, I'm guessing somewhere hot, like their own country.. |

I think than they would go to Bosnia or Albania, beause they are muslims as the Turks |
