you can travel to any country without a visa, but make sure you have a mastercard or amercian express

As a German national you can travel to any nation in the EU and stay there forever if you choose. As a citizen of the EU you have as much right to live in any EU nation as a citizen of that country.

I think you can travel to and stay as long as you want to any country in the EU without a visa, but I imagine you will need a passport. You can probably travel to most countries and stay 90 days (as a tourist). The best way to find out is to check with the countries embassy that you are thinking of travelling to. Most travel agents will be able to help you also. A lot of countries (outside of the EU) make you fill out a form on entry (Name, citizenship, passport details, how long you intend to stay, address of where you are going to stay....).

If you have a German passport, you can visit any country in the E.U. without a visa

You have german nationality, so you are free to travel within all the Schengen countries and most part of the rest of Europe. UK is not part of Schengen, but as a German, you do not need a visa.

For citizens of countries not party to the Schengen Agreement, restrictions exist that govern the length of one's stay within the Schengen area. The general rule stipulates a maximum 90-day stay within a 180-day period beginning from the first day of entry. Provided a multiple-entry visa has been granted, one may leave and return a number of times within the 180-day period but the combined stay within the region must total no more than 90 days.

I think that you can go to most European countries without a visa for either 30 or 60 days if I remember correctly. If you have a country in mind try checking their countrie's home office, or check your own homeoffice for up to date information, as some countries change how strict they are daily.
