There would be a 200 mile queue at Harwich and the country would rise up 3 feet out of the sea.
I really don't know....but I think it would be a great shame if they did.
We would go back to shoddy workmanship and high prices for builders and plumbers and miserable disinterested serving staff in restaurants. |

There would be a shortage of workers to fill the vacancies in the job market. Housing would be come cheaper as there would be a lot of empty properties for rent/sale. but then there would be a lot of reprosessions as the landlords will not be able to fill their properties and pay the mortgages. |

Probably everything would slow down for a while. Then things would get going again.
Afterall we managed before they came so I expect that we could manage again. |

all the fast food outlets would be forced to shut and it would delay the London olympics indefinetly because they would be no workmen to build the facilties. it would cause havoc in the housing market. house prices would plummet.it will be impossible to find a plumber. the prison population would drop by a third. and all prices would go up by at least 50% need I go on. it would almost ruin the country finacially |

Crime rate would drop, there would be more jobs for the British. The housing shortage would be a thing of the past. There would be less East European prostitutes on the streets against their will. peace would return to the countryside. and poaching would stop ! |

Everything would fall apart. Imagine "28 days later" but instead of the infected, it would be selfish lazy Starbucks customers wondering who would make their Latte |

There would be jobs, housing and more space in the UK for the British people. |

it's very simple-cheap labour mainly from Poland has kept your interest rates relatively low. if the Polish were to leave the uk, you would experience higher costs of labour, which would put the consumer prices up, BoE would put interest rates up which would make loans more expensive and therefore the general demand on the market would fall.......which nicely leads to a recession....so you really don't want them to leave no matter how you hate them.... |

Some people are very very very very very very ignorant. It make me extremely embarressed to be British.
Our economy would collapse. Polish people contibuted 40 million pounds to the British economy last year so we'd be 40 million pounds worse off.
Instead of hard working Polish people who want a better life for there kids getting the council houses it would be British thugs, junkies and under age parents.... super!!!
I'm not sure where people get the idea that the crime rate would drop???? Last I heard it was British teenages and gangs who are going around carrying knifes and shooting young kids like Reece Jones.
Never met a Polish person in a fast food restaurant in my life..... i work for a construction company and our hardest working people (mechanics, builders, electricians and MANAGERS are Polish people).
This "our country" mentallity is so pathetic. Why do we insist on destryong the like of Spain (Benidorm, Ibiza, Magaluf) with our roudy, rude, immature thuggish behaviour then when we have our "own country" to destroy.
If Polish people come to Britian for a better life I HATE to see the state of their country if the think Britian is so much better. |
