I am not sure that anyone in the world has ever spent that much money in one year. the Penthouses at One Hyde Park are going to cost 100 million pounds when they are completed in 2010.

The first man who may actually spend 1 billion euros in one year will probably be Mukesh Ambani, the richest man in Asia. He is going to spend 1 billion US dollars for his new house in 2009.
Antilla will probably be the most expensive house in the world for a very long time. At a cost of US$1 billion, Ambani's 27-story tower -- complete with helipad on top -- dwarfs the next most expensive home, both financially and in stature. Forget going to the gym -- the Ambanis will have their own health club. And their friends can drop by in droves because the six-floor garage will hold 168 cars . The tower will be 570 feet tall, and mostly glass. The ultra-modern mansion will feature panic rooms, a movie theater and a staff of 600 servants. |

i would travel to south america an asia. i've seen most european countries, i was born in romania so yeah. i would buy a new wardrobe, fix my teeth and get a new car.. oh my gosh 1 billion is a lot.. probably.. hmm.. hotels, beaches, clubs, restaurants, charity. |
