If you had to choose a country other than your own, which one would it be?

The place is Cyprus. I have been there for 2 years and it is the only place in all over the world that I would live except my home. The reason is that these two years I was feeling like home.

I adore Italy, but if i had to live there, i would live in Naples, because the mentality and the people are like in Greece..
Also Spain..
But having lived abroad for my studies, and having travelled so much, i can assure you that i dont change my country for anything else.Turks can understand why.
The way of life, the sun , the sea...i think we can not afford the frenetic way of life of the Europeans easily...

Well, lets begin. Every single county has beauties and its pros and cons so I could live in:

- Turkey for food, sweets and the city I love, Istanbul (also for hot men & women ,lol)
- Mexico for the cuisine
- Italy for coffee and museums
- France for sweets, shopping
- USA for big parking lots, burgers and country music
- Switzerland for chocolates, ski and calm
- Germany for great roads and organization
- Brazil for caipirinha , dance and lazyness
- Tunisia for motorbike races
- Netherlands for total liberty
- Japan for technology
- New Zealand for amazing landscape
etc etc etc

Mongolia.Mongolians are cute people and interesting.One of my mongolian friends said that if there was a biiiggg earthquake, mongolia would be in safe.It is one of the oldest land in the world.:)))))BUT Being Turk is a wonderful emotion:)

i'd definitely put italy as my first choice...that place is AMAZING! plus they've got immense ice cream lol after italy, it would be a toss between canada n usa...perhaps spain...not sure, never visited spain...

Spain. I think the quality of life is just amazing. All the advantages of the industrial world, but without the stress and neurotics. The healthiest happiest, anarchistic people and healthy food at the lowest prices. I live here now :)

it would be Italy, particularly Venice. most beautiful & legendary city (although I haven't ever been there! :)) after İstanbul for me. all those palaces i've heard of, the rebuilt Fenice, lagoons, famous people who lived there, the rich history of the Venetian Republic...

I am from Cyprus lıvıng ın UK for 35 years. I would choose Turkey as beıng the nearest to Cyprus and havıng the same culture, food and most of all Turkısh hospıtalıty ıs the number one ın the world. But I am not goıng to say Turkey because you may thınk I am takıng sıde because you are Turkısh. So I wıll go for a second best.
Any tropıcal ısland wıth as lıttle people as possıble. That way the ısland ısn't goıng to be corrupted. I can sıt under the palm trees and wrıte my books and poems ın a natural way.
But lıfe ısn't that easy so I wıll take what ever ıt comes hopıng I am lucky and end up some where nıce...

Ipek, this is not fair. Why doesn't Italy count? I have always wanted to live in a small Italian town or village where they make wine and olive oil. So quiet and happy on the slopes of a mountain.

I live in the U.S. If had to choose another country, I would live in Australia. It seems like a really pretty place, warm, plus they speak english so I wouldnt have to learn a new language.
