Assuming I had infinite funds, I would buy all the land on the Bosphorus region, pull down modern buildings, renovate historical ones, plant lots of trees, make parks of all remaining space and present it to the pleasure of the public in general. Sorry for meddling, the Queen of Bosphorus.
Or, I would build economical retirement homes in cities. Working couples can't find thrustworthy retirement or day-care homes for the elderly. |

Grab lands from organized industry areas from Ankara, İzmir, İzmit and Eskişehir. Built up techoparks. Recruite genius university students and fund universities with the profits from that technoparks.
And there is lack of flat-steel. I'd build up a huuugggeee factory, make long term deals with huuugee consumers in Turkey. I assure you, I'd be the leader since there is no competition in flat-steel production in Turkey. |

Open a bank account in sterling wait until the lira peaks at approx 2.94 lira to the pound. Change the sterling to lira and let it sit in a monthly account gathering approx 18% interest a month. (true) Then when the lira goes back down to approx 2.25lira change it back into sterling and watch your money grow. |

Firstly from my own experience (own 2 investment properties here in Turkey) I would seriously advise you do some research and pick an area which has a great tourism record but also with future potential to make your investment worth while.
Do lots of research on your chosen area, and if you are thinking of property investment in particular then really make sure you see lots of different properties to really give you an idea of whats out there, don't make rash decisions and give yourself time to think on what kind of invest you can make for example buy to let, off plan, buy and sell in the future to make your profit.
Make sure you have an English speaking solicitor at all times and have all necessary paper work and documents translated.

All depend on budget. With a a little amount of money i'd invest on a property in a good location.
With a medium amount i'd invest on tourism.
With a good budget ( 10-15 million$ +) , i'd invest on cargo ships.
This last one is not only for Turkey of course. |

In dental surgery and other health care and invite people from Ireland who wait one month for the urgency appointment and get the tooth extracted because there is only 16 endodentologues.Plus a strausman implant is sold in Turkey for 500 euro in Ireland for 4500!The same in UK ...
Health tourism doe have a future. |
