You know, trying to think like a politician is hard.
I think it would be like running for Class President. I mean, you know there are things you'd like to change in the school, but nobody really expects the Class President to have any power, and school is pretty much just school. That's how it is.
And then you vote for the best looking candidate.
Wait, that's pretty much like running for President of a country, too.

How could everybody be rich? How can everybody be the same? Do you mean that we would all be stamped out of the same mold? All beautiful, all the same colour? Who would do the menial work? If we are all rich we would not work.
The question is not reasonable. Perfection is rare and if it arises, it is boring we have to have variety, up down, plain beautiful, poor rich, hot cold, thick thin. There would be no incentive to do anything and the perfect world would die out.
If I were a Politician, and everyone was rich and happy, I could hardly promise them more than what they already had.
In such a world as you state, Politicians would not be existing. There would be no need for Politicians.

Nationalism and religion should be the only way to get votes.
A happy citizen with lots of money and without a problem should love his country so i'd use nationalism to get votes.
And if everything is OK in this world,it's time to think about the "other world" so religion.Politicians have always used religion to get votes and they have always won! i'd give my public the key of the heaven ! hehe you know i'm a politician :-) i can do it. LOL |
