If you were to live anywhere in Europe, where would it be? |
For me it would be either, Rome, Paris or London. |

I was born 32 miles from London but 4 years ago I moved to Spain , where its sunny most days the pace of life is slower and the people are friendlier . |

it would be either in england or italy. I've lived in germany, been to spain, france, greece, and italy. Italy was my favorite place to be. But i am a sucker for British female accents..lol |

I've only seen pictures in the travel magazines so I don't have as good a frame of reference as some of the other posters. I've always been intrigued by Rome so that's a possibility. The Netherlands is another choice. Actually I'd be happy any place where I could write w/o interruption. My real dream is to live on an island a little closer to the U.S. & be free to travel to all the other places when I needed a "people fix". |

Most of Europe isn't very nice. Most of it's still stuck in a communist mindset, always has bad weather except southern countries during the summer, and is and unfriendly place. The only places I miss from living there are Garmisch, Germany which is a ski town where I'd go skiing every year, and a few small towns/villages in the Czech Republic and Hungary. Rome is a dirty, loud expensive city. Paris is the same. And London's just a city that's nicer than Rome and Paris. Fun to visit but not to live. Also, think of all the things you take for granted in America (I'm assuming that's where you're from). No more proper grocery stores, or Target or WallMart. Forget about your favorite clothing stores and malls. Electronics are nearly double the price as well. |
