That is the question I keep asking myself.....
It means somebody has to die so I get to live..
If I were in charge of the destiny, I would rather die and him/her keep on living.. Yeah, I know it is a silly thought but that is what I think.........and believe me, I paid lots of thought to that.
Then again, since I am not in charge, I suppose I will have to accept it. Dealing with the idea of living with it will be the next problem to solve...
Why aren't we all living in Neverland? :( |

Yeah, but then in return, when I die, I would donate all my organs too... |

I think it would be time to get my affairs in order and say my goodbyes. I'm 45 and I have a beautiful family, but no one lasts forever. I sure wish I could stick around and enjoy life a little more. But I don't want to be a burden to my wife and daughter. |

Depends on my age and overall health. No point in fixing the sail if the ship is sinking anyway. As far as a stranger's innards being in you, its really no different then getting blood. |

Um, yeah. |

It is acceptable, but only if it didn't harm them. I would thank them for eternity. |

Nothing is that simple, Mr. B.
I wouldn't deny it because of it coming from a stranger. In fact, depending on what type of organ it is, you may never know from whom it came, like a heart for example. It's not like a friend or family member could just give you theirs. |

yeah. why not? if that's the only option, i would take it. |

Absolutely! Why would anybody refuse a vital organ that would save his or her life? I would gratefully accept that precious gift from a stranger or from anyone else. |

yes why not. even if that person had HIV it would still give me a few more years to live |

It depends on the person. If the person is younger than me then the answer is NO. If the person is close to my age. Then the answer is NO again. Of course I'm not classifying people according to their age but I wouldn't want to make a young person's life harder by taking out a vital organ of theirs. |

It's done all the time. Why should it matter that you don't know the donor? |

this is life and death. not pride or anything else. i can understand if you find it disgusting and like, you dont know what the persons been doing. like if you get a liver, what if the person was an alcoholic. but still, i wanna live, so yes.

of course, i mean, not if they were living and they wanted to kill themselves by giving me there vital organ, but i would accept one from a dead man. i would be quite freaked about having someone elses body parts in me, but if it was my life i would take it, and then give my condolences and thanks to the deceased family... |
