If you would give an award to the European country with the most hospitable people, which country would it be?

Mention also your home country... it could turn out interesting!
Additional Details
Personally I would say the Dutch... but I'm curious what the voters will decide!

I agree in Italy you will find the most frendly people in Europe. They are always ready to help you if needed and make feel as if you were home.

ITALY is the friendliest and most hospitable country in Europe!!! Hands down.

I'm from Thailand and grew up in Spain and Belgium.

I'm partial to Scandinavians however i think Italy gets my vote. Italians make you feel like you belong there, and that they're happy because you're there. Born and raised in USA, love to travel.

Switzerland. The swiss are very open. But then again, so are the Italians. I'd love to be able to say the Germans, as that is what I am, but they can be arrogant at times (Bavarians are nice though) so I'll have to go with the Swiss or the Italians.

I enjoyed the hospitality of Slovaks. They offer you food and drink, but they do not force it on you if you don´t want it or have had enough. In some other countries (Poland, Bulgaria and the Czech Republic), traditional custom requires that they offer something repeatedly even after you say No and that got on my nerves and I ended up being drunk a lot and gaining weight :-), but maybe it has changed now, that was several years ago.

Don't tell me you all don't agree? They are down-to-earth, unpretentious, peace loving people.

I'm from Malaysia.

I would say Us the Greeks cause after my recent travel to Belgium through Italy, France and Switzerland. They treated us really rude.. I understand that the Greeks are not always so hospital but.. compared to them we are.
And forget the Turkish haven't been corrupted by tourism yet.

Anyway.. i Believe that all the Mediterranean Countries are really hospital.. But we are the best. (oh my god i am so modest)
