Go on the internet, do Google searches and Ash searches. Pick out hotels that are nearest to prague's attractions. Get a map of town centre from internet and see where the hotel's are. If you are travelling by public transports, make sure the hotel is also within walking distance from the railway station or bus station. There will also be a bus from the airport which you can book in advance at reasonable rates. Terravision may do a coaching service
there, they cover most of the major cities. Book one of the cheap airlines. Mostly enjoy yourself. Ps you can book everything on the web.

go to www.mytraveldesign.com and there are packages (hotel, air, tours etc) on the site. There are loads of places to go on there.

look on travelsupermarket.com you can get a room for around £25 per night, there are lots of 4 or 5star hotels around 4km outside the centre with excellent transport links into the main centre. you can get flights for around £30 per person return so you can get a 3 night break for 2 people for around £150.00. taxis are cheap so dont worry about the price of transferes from the airport to the hotel.

Hi Shaun

Prague is a great place for a short break. In fact I went there last weekend, just for the weekend.

I would stay somewhere near the Old Town as that is the nicest area in my opinion, although anywhere in Central Prague wouldn't be too bad as you can really walk everywhere as it is quite a small place.

My favourite booking site is WotIf (book within 28 days of your stay), and they have quite a a big selection of cheap hotels for Prague.

Check out: http://www.wotif.com/?country=43

I hope this helps!

Phone 0141 - 242 - 1300 and ask to speak to a young guy called Jonathon - he is the best travel agent I know - he will get you sorted.

Disco Dolly
expedia.com is often the cheapest for city breaks.............it also has ratings from previous customers, location maps etc and is very handy.

And remember it's PRA-HAA and not PRAG. Try to build a decent image for American tourists in your stay.
