GREEK BARBiiE♥
lol well most Greek girls have natural brown hair & white skin so it doesnt look that "unnatural" as lets say: women from diff. ethnicities such as (Arab, Turkish, Persian..etc..) who are darker complected. Although i would leave blonde hair more for Scandinavian, and NorthEastern Europe countries than Greece which is Mediterranean, and therefore doesnt suit it as well.

But fake blonde hair looks good on some and bad on others!! Every girl looks different. Some girls can look gorgeous with red hair, and others hideous! It all depends on the girl!!! Elli Kokkinou has natural brown hair, and look how horrible she looked when at one time she dyed it blonde, yet Anna Vissi whose a natural brunette as well, looks nice with blonde hair. However, I dont think any woman should go 2/3 shades darker or lighter than her natural haircolor, otherwise it would look fake.

Edit: LMAOOO at Zoltan, you gotta give him a best answer for that. LOL!

Vasiliki-Βασιλική
they dont ...only some of them

Brunettes are the best :)

It could be to stand out - but that was before everyone dyed their hair - OR it could be to hide grey hairs (Like me)

i'm a greek woman and i have my hair dark.... i think that most women color their hair blonde because there is a very small amount of natural blonde women in greece... they want to change their appearence and they think that the blond color is flattering them... me prsonally, feel distgusted of all these blonds... TRY ANOTHER COLOR

Andrew S
Everywhere, most women dye their hair blonde. Some Greeks are natural blondes. I hate it when many people say that it is impossible for a Greek to be blonde. It is very possible.

its ok i seen worse in other countries...they actually paint thier hair orange in some african countries...but the funny thing is they dont have oranges? so how do they know what orange looks like?but the worse colour i seen a woman dye her hair is a very intense green with red and blue highlights ..looked like a mop that been around a few toilets..yuckkkkkkkkk

Actually it is very common for Greek women to have 'white' aka fair skin. And natural fair hair isn't unheard nor uncommon for Greek women. Not all of us are dark haired you know. Believe it or not aside for having natural Greek blondes we also have natural Greek red heads too, and no we are not all 'mixed'. ;-)

I suppose they get bored, like we do. I know what you mean though - it doesn't really look that great on darker women. I hate to see black girls with dyed blonde hair too. I would love to have gorgeous dark hair like some of my darker friends but they too are always wanting to go lighter.

Blonde women are absolutely breath taking. IF the blonde is done correctly on a lot of women it looks horrible!

But for example Julia Alexandrou (??) is naturally blonde of course she is also part English so her mom might be the blonde which is why she's lighter then most Greeks.

Off topic I've noticed that it is not common though for Greek women to have white skin ... men and women for that matter.

I know but I will NEVER dye my hair blonde

Καστανομάλα γεννήθηκα , καστανομάλα θε να πεθάνω!lol!
:-)

Most the places I have been in Greece have their fair share of all hair colours! You should be able to dye your hair bright pink if you want to - it's just personal preference. I've had my hair at least 4 different shades - by all rights I should look like a tabby cat now!! (and NO!! blondes do not have more fun!!)
