as you can see Serbia is the richest of all.

(personally i strongly believe it has nothing to do whether a country is a member of EU or NATO, too)

My personal wives, sorry I will not use statistic.Serbia really even after bombarding going up, they have good strategy, big investitions from foringers and they have best quality in food.
Bulgaria has very low standard chip products with low quality.I wonder where disappear beautiful Bulgarian pamuk(cotton)?!
Albania haven't good quality in buildings, very low quality in food, maybe only Skenderbeg drink is good.
I haven't been in Montenegro long time, I can't tell you.
And Macedonia going down, my beautiful Macedonia, food production, clothes, buildings are good quality, but prices increased, many people still can't find job and young people leave country.Our "lovely" neighbour Greece have been made everything to destroy Macedonia and that is very successfully.

I'm referred by some answerer and here is response:Greece have investitions which not help for developing of country, women work in greek textiles factories with out basic conditions for 90 euros per month only and maybe lower, one 40 old Macedonian women dead at work, greeks even do not pay taxes;
Greece attack Macedonia every where with logo: do not invest in Macedonia, because it is dangerous in other site they say how only they invest in Macedonia;
Greece make logo: do not go in Macedonia, many tourists agencies from Macedonia lost many money;
10 politicians from Greece became richer because one financial scandal made by the Greeks, Macedonia lost 540 million dollars and going to lost more;
How many Macedonians use Greek mobile telephony, how many Macedonians use greek products and going in shopping in Greece near every day, how many Macedonian tourist per a day visit Greece, how much money have Universities in Solun from Macedonian students? Do you know? Greeks eat from us.I hope Macedonians going to wake up and stop see in greece friendly country.
Greeks attack Macedonians every where they find for own right, even here on ya, attack little kids. why? Because those kids are Macedonians. And do not say me that Greece support Macedonia, just stop tormenting us, leave Macedonia in peace and stop your big Anti Macedonian lobby, believe, you going to lost more.with your Anti Macedonian politic.

Think like that: The Federal Republic of Yugoslavia was once a rich and modern European country. Right? When it collapsed, mainly Serbia inherited its riches.

read it and develop your own argument.... but do understand this that albania , macedonia , and montenegro were at the bottom of the bottom and the economy there has just been booming recently... now dont compare it to other countries in europe, but look at data and you will be suprised to find that the economy has been increasing sharply.

serbia after the war was in so bad position and in some years achieved to be more richer than those....
this is called intelligence,capability and hard work....
(and serbia is not in eu just others,and doesnt have the help of usa,just like others..

1st)i do know a lot about makedonian history because is a part of greece's history ,if you mean about your country's history(lets saty in the term fyrom)
genocide......what genocide?????is so funny that some people invent some things to express their hatress to other people...there are genocide associations,and councils,that if it was ,not only it would be proven,but it would be at least one reference to it!!!!!
if you mean population exchanges between two countries(where in that period you were not) there are treates,wich treates are never illigal and non valid....

2nd)as far as the salaries,as i told there are courts and laws....use it!!!
btw as i told u before i did work in 2 of them,(where we had communication woth the skopjian workers) and they never complained and also a friend of mine is the manager of one company(not so big) in skopjie,were the salaries of their workers(at least i can speak for this company) was more than the average salary

we never said not invest to fyrom,greece is the first investor in your country and recently one who gave money for the develpment of the balkans (generally)

also you must confuse some things
greece has not private universities to pay fees(so you say that they are full of your money)
greece gives rooms to foreign students in univers ,where when they are foreigner are in priority to greeks (the university rooms are full of africans,albanian,pakistan,bulgarian)
also explain me how a country,which in reality is more more poorer than greece comes in greece for....shopping??????

Dear vasiliki, you think that you know a lot of my country Macedonia and about the greek's business here. The truth is that you know nothing at all. It is true that Greeks have many small factories in south of Macedonia, especially in Bitola, but the workers there are nothing more then slaves. They are working 10-12 hours a day like dogs for a 60-70 EUR per month. Greeks are not paying a cent for their social and health taxes for this poor people, which is their obligation by law. Greeks are using our hard position, our unemployment to make big money on someone's other back. The animals are treated better then this hard workers. And you got a courage to say that my country is in better position because of you? And that Macedonians are pathetic people? We are pathetic because we are poor? Or hard working nation? No, we are not. We are brave and proud nation, trying to survive in these difficult years. You are the one that is pathetic. According to you we should be thankfull that you put VETO for us on the NATO sumit, for the exodus of the Macedonians that you made in Aegean Macedonia, for denying Macedonian minoritys in your country , for stealing our identity and history. I wasn't talking about the civil war in Greece, I was talking about the genocide that you did to Macedonian people!!! That is something different, you can't hide it with your civil war! Your country steal Aegean Macedonia only before 95 years so we have every human and politic right to blame you for that, so who is stealing the history? Your history in that teritory is only a second comparing to our history. You have to pay Macedonian people for their propertyes that you steal, you have to pay for every single Macedonian tear, you did something terrible. Pathetic is you! Bulgaria is a member state of EU, Albania got invitation to NATO, Macedonia is a country-candidate to NATO and EU,Montenegro is on the beginning, Serbia just have signed the Agreement.

The question about "rich" and "poor" is very relatively:

Talking about salaries, Macedonia is N 1 amongst all !

Talking about GDP, it is different question.

it is richer. I live in Serbia, and people here still believe that Bulgaria and Romania are some poor and dirty etc, because it was like that 20 years ago, but now they are progressing a hell faster than us.... so, it's not a big difference, but it's still richer and more perspective.

It depends on how you classify "wealth" but in terms of GDP which is generally used as an indicator of wealth then no, Bulgaria is not the richest out of the countries mentioned

If you look at the list of GDP for 2007 produced by the CIA world factbook then the placement is as follows

70th place - Serbia
72nd place - Bulgaria
109th place - Albania
130th - Macedonia
154th - Montenegro

I thought that Serbia would be the highest but I was surprised by Montenegro being lower than Albania or Macedonia, so it's always good to check the facts!
