Croatia is cheaper but not as cheap as you might expect! I thought Croatia would be very cheap and have been twice and find that yes it's cheap but not as cheap as I would like it to be! The problem is the Croats know they can make a lot of money from tourism which is growing fast and they are not scared to raise prices! |

for strangers (like for englishmen) I'd say it's cheaper here, in croatia (food, clothes...). but hotels and things like that are pretty expensive |

I was there a couple of years ago and it costs about the same as the UK for drink, food etc. Holidays are a bit more expensive as it is still relatively unknown. |

It will probably cost a lot more to buy Croatia. |

Since the UK is one of the most expensive places to live, I can say that living in Croatia is certainly much cheaper. |

Its a lot cheaper, i was there last year in Zagreb, pints around about £1, Large pizza, and i mean 25inch £6. Taxi's are around average £3 were it may be £5-6 here. Fuel is around 1/4 cheaper. I would say on a whole its around 1/4 less than U.k. If in Zagreb, i recommened hotel international zagreb |

It is definitely cheaper. I am from Slovenia, a country next to Croatia and prices there are almost the same as here. So for a coffee you would pay around 75p, for juice 1,40 pound, for taxi to get to another part of Zagreb for example 8 pounds, for a hotle by nigt *** 25 pounds. |
