Most certainly not. England is only one part of the Island of Great Britain at the north west of the continent of Europe. The other parts of Great Britain are Scottland and Wales.
That island and its western neighbour, Ireland, are the only English speaking countries in Europe. That's why you hardly ever hear anything about any of the other European countries on US news. |
