They are all totally different. Language, food, and culturally!
Why not try checking Wikipedia and finding out? If you have internet access, there is so much you can check and learn, its better when you find out yourself, because you won't get silly answers as well.

France is totally different from England, Germany or Italy in almost every respect, except that all are European countries, Language, cuisine...everything is different.

I guess they are as individual as the other countries you mention. Language wise they are probably more related to Italy as they are both Romance languages. France is a huge country with different habits in each region, I guess the countryside could be compared to any country farms in the world; they are all hard working and very hospitable.

Italy.

Linguistically, French and Italian are both Romance languages.

Politically they are both countries in which there are a multiplicity of small parties which tend to form unstable and shifting coalitions.

In cuisine, it was the Italians who taught the French how to cook when Marie de Medici brought a platoon of chefs with her to Paris when she married the French king. It was an Italian, Francesco Procopio Dei Coltelli, who opened the first Cafe in Paris.

The French and Italians are both wine drinkers while the Germans and English are beer drinkers.

Temperamentally the French and Italians tend to be emotional and/or romantic while the English and the Germans tend to be phlegmatic and/or pragmatists.

More like England in the north.
More like Germany in the east.
More like Italy in the south.

France is more like Italy, only ruder! And they both surrender at the drop of a hat!

Aurora
No, there is just no country in the world that is like some other country and I think that´s just a very good thing. Enjoy your stay wherever you are planning to go.Have a nice summer.
