Thank you all about the nice comments on Malta; it is true that us Maltese are depressed about the way we live but we do not put this burden on the tourist. June should be OK with temperatures averaging 33 to 35 degrees celcius, do expect some light wind or breeze.
St Julians is well known with tourism and especially nightlife (bars, discoteques and bars and bars and bars...and good restaurants as well); while in Malta I definitely recommend renting a car (if you don't want to waste time waiting for the bus...we need to improve both service and manners here) although I recommend that you ride a bus at least for one day (public transport is cheap and tend to be adventurous); Gozo and Comino are a must, if you like the sea I suggest that you do visit Mellieha Bay. When you go swimming take only necessary items only, towel, sunglasses (cheap one) and a few money (unfortunately we are experiencing pick pocketing on beaches). Bugibba is nice too, especially in the evening, there is a long promenade where you can walk and taste some good ice-creams or go for bumping cars.
If you like history or to get 270 degrees of Malta's views, do go to Mdina; this is the old capital city of Malta and also to Valletta which is the capital city of Malta, you will find places that are 550 years old and date back to the knights of st john. While in Valletta, you can also pay a visit to the Valletta waterfront (this place is good as well to spend a good night sipping beer or a glass of wine while sitting only 2 meters away from the sea). If you come in the first two weeks of June you can visit the village of Zebbug Malta there is the feast with plenty of atmosphere and a lot of fireworks. Anyway, it is all up to you now to decide!!! If you can understand my English it is your first good news, there are another 400,000 locals who know the language so basically you will never be lost. And by the way should you happen in Malta do taste our Maltese Bread and also the Pastizzi (cheese cakes)...you will be amazed!! Feel free to e-mail me should you need any further information.

I was in Malta in Oct for a wedding, It was my first time abroad and I had a class time. We stayed in Sliema near St. Julians its a lovely lovely place and the weather was class to. I would definitely go back. We went to Comino the island off Gozo I would def recommend you go there it was beautiful also went to the capital city and spent a day walking around there was class.
You'll def have a good time out there and the food and restaurants are lovely out there to we ate in Blue Elephant in the Hilton (a bit expensive but worth it) and in Barracuda in Sliema on the last night was a lovely restaurant. The Kitchen is suppose to be nice as well but you have to book it before hand.
Hope you have a lovely holiday! If you need any other info just email me :)

yes i'm 15 and i Absolutelyy love it! st julians is great just to chill. Although malta is ridiculously small it's full of character. I suggest you visit gozo just next to malta via ferry. You will also love the food in malta! It's like eating god's own work haha If you need some more ideas on places to vist just email me at lukefinney@yahoo.com

Really nice!

People are nice and it's just a really nice chilled out place.

I will go back one day - when I can afford it!

Had a great holiday there - it was warm and sunny even in December.
If any of the Churches have a Saint's Fest evening it is interesting to go and join the processions
Gozo is a good trip to take.

Malta is the most "depressed" country in the world today according to the world factbook where 60% + of people in Malta said they aren't happy with their lives.
So umm if your not going to socialize then go ahead.

I would recommend Macedonia as a holiday destination ;). Can't go wrong there.
