1.) Yes, definitely yes! There are many touristic cities to visit and many places to go to shop. There is a lot of history, shopping, and culture in Turkey. If I might add, very good food too.
2.) It is very safe. Many people there are religious so there isn't a worry about safety however there are people who do pickpocket (steal small things) so make sure you carry your valuables/money with you in a small pouch inside of your pants at all time. Don't carry too much when you walk around.
3.) If you are looking for vacation places and resorts, Antalya or Izmir is the place to go. Very nice weather, beautiful beaches, great resorts, and nice ocean breezes. Izmir also has great shopping malls as well. For history, shopping, and culture, Istanbul would be the best place. There are so many musuems as well as historic sites to go to. There are also places about culture and many resturants with food. For shopping, there are many malls on the European and Asian side including the 2nd Largest Mall in Europe which is in Istanbul. These are just the major places in Turkey with touristic places but the whole country itself has many historic places in different cities.
P.S. - I've never been to the Cyprus part of Turkey but might I add that you visit there as well. |

Ans: Yes, it's a very nice country, so much history.

Ans: Yes, (in my opinion) I am English, I moved here 10yrs ago and I've never look back.
3) Are there any good attractions?
Ans: Yes, and so much to see and learn in many cities, such as Capadoccia, Bodrum, Antalya, Istanbul and Ephesus etc. |

Yes, if you stay in touristy areas or big cities especially. Only have pickpockets to worry about really. Most Turks are very friendly. Are you by yourself or with somebody?
Yes, lots of sights in Istanbul. And the Mediterranean coast is very beautiful. |

Turkey is a wonderful place.
I live here and I haven't had any problems up til now.
Turkey is full of attractions. There's Pammukale, Ephesus, Cappadocia and many many more. |

It has a lot of history. Istanbul is good for a week minimum. Lots to see and do there.
It's safe as long as you don't go way off into the "boonies" by yourself. |
