You can study arabic at universities in Turkey but though it is a muslim country you can hardly find people speaking arabic on the streets unless you are not in somewhere close to border of Syria. Prayers are in arabic but most people just know the meaning of prayers and some just know how to read arabic but do not talk or understand at all. Better you go somewhere else otherwise you may end up with learning turkish. |

I don't think that you have a capability to learn any language because you even don't have capability to learn what Turk is...
We are not Arabs, we are not Europeans... We are Turks.
See, T-U-R-K...
"The Turkish nation consists of heroic people of a tribe which stipulates independence for vitality and has been living independently and freely for centuries. This nation hasn’t lived, can’t live and won’t live without independence."
Mustafa Kemal Atatürk |

Treeleaper gave you an accurate answer.
Besides that, a person who thinks that Arabic is spoken in all Muslim countries should reconsider if he really wants to study this language.
You actually don't want to study Arabic but compare Turkish people with Arabs.
There is nothing wrong with Turkish people.
There is nothing wrong with Arabic people.
There is nothing wrong with Mongolian people.
There is nothing wrong with Armenian or Kurdish people.
But you my boy, you have a serious problem. |

Turks are not Arabs, they are Turks and therefore they speak Turkish.
Lesson, the majority of Muslims are not Arabs. Think of Iran (Persians), Pakistan (multi-ethnic, Punjabs, Sindis, Pashtuns, Mohajirs and Baluchis), Indonesia, Melanesians). various African countries where the inhabitants are obviously not Arabs. |

A common misconception is that Turks are Arabs... But they are not. Turks are just Turkish and the only thing in common with arabs is that 90% of the people are Islamic.
Now that aside....
I guess you can study arabic in Turkey, but... why not study arabic where you are, or go to a country that speaks arabic?? Turks speak Turkish which is VERY different from Arabic. You can try Egypt I suppose. It's peaceful enough.
And one more thing... Turkey is not really a Muslim country. It's a country with a muslim majority, it's a different thing. Most Turks do not really speak Arabic, and the ones that are pious and do their prayers only know the ritual in Arabaic and that's it. For the most, at least. |
