3% of the land mass of Turkey is in Europe. This is called Thrace (Trakya), and comprices the provinces of Edirne, Luleburgaz, Tekirdağ, Çanakkale and half of Istanbul.
The rest of Turkey is in Asia. In antiquity this was known as Asia Minor, and is called Anatolia (Anadolu) today.
The boundary between Europe and Asia is the waterways of the Bosphorus (divides Istanbul into two halves), Sea of Marmara, and the Dardanelles straits.

Eastern Thrace is part of Modern Day Turkey and that's in Europe and the Anatolian Peninsula is where Modern Day Turkey also sits and that's in Asia.
While most of Turkey is in Asia it does have a European component which is Eastern Thrace. |

Mathios is right anatolian peninsula which is also known as Asia Minor Eastern Thrace is european part of Turkey i think Africa is more close to Cyprus than to Turkey |
